How many times have you seen stories in the newspaper or on the television that feature the crimes or struggles of our youth today? Have you ever wished that you could help impact a change ... guiding these youth on to brighter futures? The youth of today will be our leaders of tommorow, making it important for us to stand behind the youth in our community. By making a financial contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters of DeKalb County, you will make an impact on the youth in your community and, thus, on our community as a whole.
It is our goal at Big Brothers Big Sisters to help children in need of support and guidance by providing them with and adult mentor/friend with whom they can establish a life-long relationship; someone that is there for them in good times and bad, someone they can talk to, laugh with and have fun with. In order to create these meaningful relationships and achieve our mission, we need your help. It costs the Big Brothers Big Sisters department approximately $1,100-$1,200 a year to evaluate, enroll, match and support a volunteer and a child. Your financial support is critical to the success of the program and what it is able to achieve.
We hope you will consider a gift to the Family Service Agency, Big Brothers Big Sisters department. By contributing to this wonderful organization, you are making a difference in the life of a child in our community ... contributing to better schools, brighter futures and stronger communities for all of us.
